Aion The Tower of Eternity

Aion The Tower of Eternity is a visually stunning MMORPG that has thousands upon thousands of people talking across the globe. First going live in Korea, then following with a grand showing in China, the Aion game has now made it global and quest help is needed more than ever. There are many different areas and zones inside Aion The Tower of Eternity and even more non-player characters (NPCs) running around offering a multitude of questing options. It is easy to get confused and lost within this new world.

It is important to understand how to navigate through the world and the different options Aion provides players. Tapping the “j” key will allow quick access to the Quest Log. There are little boxes next to the quests inside the log that you can put a check mark in. This little check mark allows for the quest to be seen on the right hand side of the screen. With this option you can review details of the quest or check progress. If a full detail view of the quest is needed again there is a small arrow on the right side of the quest that you can click on the screen and it will open your log again.

Inside almost every quest is a link that players can click. This link is usually the name of a NPC or place within the game. Clicking this link will open a map that gives players a location of the place they are looking for. Tapping “m” opens the regular map and “n” opens a clear map that allows players to still play the game while seeing where they are heading.

Take a walk into the world of Aion and get ready to be impressed.

Entering the First City

Entering the first city of Aion; Akarios Village, will introduce characters to many aspects of the game. First thing players will notice is the campaign quest that pops up upon walking inside. This quest is titled: Kalio’s Call.

Akarios Village

There will be many buildings inside Akarios Village, new quests, profession trainers, merchants, and people walking around. This is most likely the player’s first experience with private stores and other players. Visit the armor and weapon merchant to see what upgrades are offered as well. Take time to walk around and learn how to buy items and interact with other people.

Collecting Aria is a level 2 quest that Elyos players get from Polinia. Polinia will be standing off to the side of a building in Akarios Village with a hovering blue arrow above his head indicating that he wants to talk to you. The objective in Collecting Aria is to go to the surrounding areas and collect 10 of the pink flower Aria. This flower is found all over the area your character is in. Walking out either door of Akarios Village will bring characters into contact with the flowers.

Collecting Aria will also give players experience and raise their leveling skill while completing the quest. Raising the leveling, gathering, and harvesting skill in Aion benefits players by supplying them items for their professions; handycrafting, tailoring, etc. While also giving them things to sell at the Trade Broker for profit. Players will have the ability to obtain their first profession at level 10 when they arrive in Sanctum. These NPCs will be located towards the back of the city and will all be in the same area for easy access. Keep the items you gather between the time you start playing Aion until you reach Sanctum to decide upon your professions. Return to Polinia to receive the reward of 1,310 experience and 3 Minor Life Potions after collecting the 10 Aria flowers.
