Aion Guide for The Snuffler Headache, Helping Kales, and A New Skill
Aion The Tower of Eternity
Aion The Tower of Eternity is a visually stunning MMORPG that has thousands upon thousands of people talking across the globe. First going live in Korea, then following with a grand showing in China, the Aion game has now made it global and quest help is needed more than ever. There are many different areas and zones inside Aion The Tower of Eternity and even more non-player characters (NPCs) running around offering a multitude of questing options. It is easy to get confused and lost within this new world.
It is important to understand how to navigate through the world and the different options Aion provides players. Tapping the “j” key will allow quick access to the Quest Log. There are little boxes next to the quests inside the log that you can put a check mark in. This little check mark allows for the quest to be seen on the right hand side of the screen. With this option you can review details of the quest or check progress. If a full detail view of the quest is needed again there is a small arrow on the right side of the quest that you can click on the screen and it will open your log again.
Inside almost every quest is a link that players can click. This link is usually the name of a NPC or place within the game. Clicking this link will open a map that gives players a location of the place they are looking for. Tapping “m” opens the regular map and “n” opens a clear map that allows players to still play the game while seeing where they are heading.
Take a walk into the world of Aion and get ready to be impressed.
The Snuffler Headache
The Snuffler Headache is a level 2 quest that Elyos players get from Kales. Kales will be standing off to the
side of the road which leads from Poeta starting area to Akarios Village with a hovering blue arrow above his head indicating that he wants to talk to you. The objective in The Snuffler Headache is to go locate and kill Grain Snufflers and get 4 Long Snuffler Tails. Simply walk to one of the nearby crop fields to the left, right, behind, and in front of Kales to find the Grain Snufflers. They will be roaming around amongst the other animals. Kill 4 Grain Snufflers and collect their Long Snuffler Tails. Walk back to Kales to collect the reward of 530 experience and 120 kinah.
Helping Kales
Helping Kales is a level 3 quest that Elyos players get from Kales. Kales will be standing off to the side of the road which leads from Poeta starting area to Akarios Village with a hovering blue arrow above his head indicating that he wants to talk to you. The objective in Helping Kales is to go to Akarios Village and deliver Kales’ Grain Sack to the food merchant there. Players will receive this quest after completing The Snuffler Headache but it is not a follow-up.
Tap “m” and open the Aion map to see where Akarios Village is located. Following the road will lead you
right into the village. The merchant Kales is referring to will be found on the right side of Akarios Village standing outside. He is easy to locate and eagerly gives you a reward of 300 experience for your troubles.
A New Skill
Another quest that will require players to travel to Akarios Village is A New Skill. This quest is automatically obtained when a player reaches level 3. Nothing pops up on the screen indicating you received this quest, however, a simple glance in the quest log by tapping “j” and clicking on the “Quest” tab will show it in the log. Characters will generally hit level 3 after completing the quests given out by Kale. The objective of this quest is to go and locate an instructor for your character. Each character class has their own instructor; Priest, Mage, Scout, and Warrior. The reward for A New Skill is 250 experience and an introduction to the instructor that you will be buying new skills from while in the Poeta area. Your instructor should have at least one skill for you to buy at level 3. Simply buy the skill book, tap “i” to open your inventory, click on the skill book while it is in your inventory, tap “k” to open your skills, and your new skill will be in the list waiting to be put in the skill bar for use.
