In the final act of the Halo: Reach “Nightfall” level, you and Jun must clear out Covenant forces surrounding an alien device before you can take a closer look. Before Jun can finish, though, more Covenant arrive, including a pair of hunters you’ll have to contend with.
The second portion of the Halo: Reach “Nightfall” mission is entitled “Let Sleeping Dogs Lie.” You’ll start with a fight against some of Reach’s larger denizens, then assist a band of local militia as they fend off a Covenant attack.

In the third portion of the ONI Sword Base level in Halo: Reach, you’ll have to fight your way back inside the base and through the interior up to the roof to deal with Covenant air forces. Doing so will be far from easy, as the base is crawling with the enemy, including a pair of Hunters.
In the second part of the Halo: Reach ONI Sword Base mission, you’ll mount your trusty Warthog and take on Covenant forces holding both a local AA gun and a nearby relay station. You’ll have to contend with Covenant vehicles and squads, and you can choose which objective to take on first.
The first chapter of the second mission in Halo: Reach is subtitled “The Best Defense…” In this chapter, you’ll secure the courtyard as Covenant dropships continue to drop off enemy forces, then head outside to secure the base’s exterior.
The second portion of the Halo: Reach “Winter Contingency” level is the “Rebels Don’t Leave Plasma Burns” chapter, beginning at rally point alpha. You’ll secure a pair of facilities overrun with Covenant before covering the retreat of a pinned-down trooper squadron.
The final chapter of Halo: Reach’s first level, “Winter Contingency,” starts with a large firefight in the facility’s courtyard. Once you’re safely inside, you’ll have to track down a pair of Elites in the bowels of the facility.
