Then, this Runescape hunting guide will continue with the best way to get to 99 hunter and make Runescape money hunting, along with ways to make millions of Runescape GP training to 99 Hunter.

So, let’s get started with this 99 Hunter Guide by going through how to train the first couple levels of the Runescape hunter skill.

How to Train to Level 53 Hunter

Level 1-29 Hunter

In order to begin training to 99 Hunter, you need to work your way up through the first couple of levels by catching birds on bird snares. The first bird you can catch at level 1 is the Crimson Swift, which will give you 34 experience per catch and are located on the shore of the Feldip Hunter area, located in the Feldip Hills directly south of Yanille.

Once you reach level 5, you can move to the Uzer Hunter area to catch Golden Warbler, which is located east of the entrance where you first enter the Alkarid Desert. Go through the desert entrance, walk east, cross the bridge, and keep going east until you run into the Golden Warblers. These will give you around 48 experience each.

At level 9, you can head to the Piscatoris Hunter area, which is located northwest of the Tree Gnome Stronghold and north of Eagles’ Peak, where you can catch Copper Longtail and receive 61 hunter exp each. Catch Copper Longtails until you reach level 19, where you can then head back to the Feldip Hunter area and catch Tropical Wagtail birds for 95 experience each, until you reach level 29 Hunter.

Level 29-53 Hunter

As soon as you reach level 29 hunter, you now can switch away from catching birds with bird snares and move to a new strategy of this Runescape hunter guide, where you should now get ready to catch lizards and salamanders with net traps. A net trap consists of a rope and a small fishing net, which will then be placed onto trees, in order to catch lizards and salamanders running around.

Runescape Swamp Lizard

At level 29, you are able to catch Swamp Lizards, which will give you 152 experience each. These are located in the Swamp Lizard hunting area in Morytania. In order to catch more Swamp Lizards and catch them faster, you can also place guam tar on the net traps, but it is not required. Catch Swamp Lizards until you reach level 47.

When you reach level 47, you can go back to the Uzer Hunter area where you caught Golden Warblers; however, you will now be catching Orange Salamanders, which will give you 224 experience each. In order to catch more Orange Salamanders faster, you can place Marrentill tar on the net traps; however, once again this isn’t required.

Catch Orange Salamders until you reach level 53, where you can then turn to Page 2 of this 99 hunter guide to see the best way to train from level 53 hunting to level 63 hunter. Then, Page 3 of this Runescape Hunter Guide will go through the best way to get 99 Hunter and make Runescape money hunting to 99 Hunter. Finally, Page 4 will explain another strategy used by Runescape players with over level 17 hunter, in order to make fast Runescape money hunting.

Chinchompa Hunting Guide for Training Level 53-63 Hunting

box trap

From level 53 hunting, training to level 63 hunting should be done by box trapping Chinchompas in the Piscatoris Hunting area. All you really have to do is set the box trap up around where the Chinchompas are running around and they will eventually come towards the trap.

One item you can place in the box traps in order to attract Chinchompas and catch more of them is Spice Chopped Tomatoes. However, I would recommend not using the Spiced Chopped Tomatoes, since the work required to get spice, tomatoes, chop them up, spice them, and hold them in your inventory really isn’t worth the slight hunting advantage you receive.

A good strategy for hunting Chinchompas is to spread out your box traps at least one or two spaces away from each other. This will allow your box traps to attract many Chinchompas, without getting too overwhelming and confusing with all the box traps set up right next to each other.

Tips for Hunting Chinchompas to 63 Hunting

chinchompa

In order to get from level 53 hunting to level 63 hunting, you will have to trap around 1,170 Chinchompas. After you hunt Chinchompas, you will have the choice to either sell them to make Runescape money hunting to 99 hunter, or you can save the Chinchompas to train Range.

If you decide to sell them, do not expect to strike right with just under 1,200 Chinchompas. Since the current price per Chinchompa in the Great Exchange is 260 GP, you will make around 300k GP training from level 53 hunter to level 63 hunter.

If you decide to save them, you can use them to train range. Chinchompas are good to use for range, since they can hit against multiple targets and earn fast range experience training to 99 range. The Red Chinchompa Hunting Guide: Training to 99 Hunter by Hunting Red Chins

After you train to level 63 hunting, you can now catch Red Chinchompas, which are exactly like Chinchompas; however, when you use them for range, they hit many more targets than regular Chinchompas, making them worth more money. Hunting for Red Chinchompas is one of the best ways to train to 99 hunter, since you can set up multiple traps and repeatedly set up the traps for more Red Chinchompas.

How to Hunt for Red Chinchompas

box trap

To hunt for Red Chinchompas, you will need box traps, just like when you are hunting for regular Chinchompas. It is best to bring between five to ten box traps, just so you have a couple extra traps in your inventory in-case you loose one. When you are hunting for Red Chinchompas, you may want to place Spiced Minced Meat inside the box traps, which will help attract the Red Chinchompas to your box traps. Using the Spiced Minced Meat is optional.

Where to Hunt for Red Chinchompas

One of the best places to hunt for Red Chinchompas is in Feldip Hunter area, straight south of Yanille. There are two spots with around five to seven Red Chinchompas running around. Place your traps on the hills, directly in the center of where all the Red Chinchompas are running around, in order to attract and trap all of them in a central location.

Tips for 99 Hunter: The Runescape Guide to Hunting Red Chinchompas to 99 Hunter

When using box traps, there are certain ways to setting up box traps for efficient hunting. Once you are able to set up four box traps, make sure you are placing them in a square pattern, so you can stand directly in the center of all the set up box traps. This will make all four box traps set up only one space away from where you are standing in the middle, making it easy to reach every trap.

When you are able to use five box traps, place four in a square pattern with the fifth box trap set up directly in the center of the box traps. Setting up your box traps in this pattern will allow you to reach each box trap quickly, since all five box traps are centrally located within three spaces of each other.

Deciding What to do After Hunting Red Chinchompas to 99 Hunter
