Go back to the Tower of London and see if you can stop Arsene Lupin. Holmes gets to fire a cannon as well, so it’s not a total loss even if you as a player fail to stop the thief.
Arsene Lupin is looking for an adversary who might be his intellectual equal. He has tired of the challenges in continental Europe and has looked to the papers in the British Isle and found Sherlock Holmes. He proposes a contest to prove who has the superior will.
You will come across one more ghastly murder and have a chance encounter with a butcher that gives you the information you need to solve the case. Will your deduction skills prove to be the equal of Sherlock Holmes?
There are only two more murders that will take place in this game. (This is slightly more than the number of murder that takes place in Macbeth.) You’ve nearly got the profile of Jack the Ripper and now you need to get more clues to figure out who he is. Start by ascertaining his profession.
Holmes must investigate the bodies that have gone missing from morgues in London and see if they have any connection to the Jack the Ripper murders. As always, things may not be quite what they seem.
Holmes follows the request of the inspector on the case and decides to send Watson out to see what he can find. Watson’s style of investigation is far more gentlemanly than Holmes’s, but it seems, no less effective.
Holmes is bored. So bored that he has taken up smoking and annoying Watson. What events will occur to relieve the tedium that he experiences currently? It’s a good thing his friend comes across that article in the newspaper about a horrific murder.
Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper is an adventure that alternates between generic and gripping as you play. Totally engrossing at times, this adventure has you wander the White Chapel area as you investigate the scene of each murder. A wonderful storyline is included that challenges your mind.
Sherlock Holmes blew open the door and now he must chase after the mummy who, as the great detective reveals, has skin on his fingers just like he does. Maybe Lord Montcalfe wanted to scare someone off for some reason?
Now that Holmes and Watson have set off an explosion in Lord Montcalfe’s mansion, they must go back through the ruined building to find the remaining pieces of the puzzle. Oh, it’s probably wise to mention that a lot of this part is timed, too.
