Medical Mystery is a brief quest that you can pick up at Camp Forlorn Hope to help restore some lost medical supplies from Dr. Richards’ Stock. I’ll tell you how to handle the thief, Private Stone, and get the most out of this quick quest.
This is potentially one of the first quests that you’ll get in Fallout: New Vegas. The town of Goodsprings needs your help with fighting off a group of Powder Gangers that want to kill Ringo, a trader that they’re protecting. If you need help defending Goodsprings, look here.
We’ll join up with the Powder Gangers outside of Goodsprings in the NCR Correctional Facility for this string of missions. You can either help the NCR take the prison or help defend it. I’ll tell you how to complete them and how to get these quests if you’re vilified by the Powder Gangers.
You can get a lot of easy reputation with the NCR and feel like a hero if you can manage to retrieve Ranger Morales’ Body from the Fiend ambush at the Repconn facility. If you need some help getting the body to the NCR, look here.
This quick but interesting mission at Camp Golf allows you to help an under performing and dysfunctional squad, called the Misfits, pass their training courses and become a strong NCR squad. Or you can make them all drug addicts or help them leech off of the NCR.
Primm is in trouble. Some stray Powder Gangers have taken over the town and you need to run them out. After that, you will need to replace the now dead sheriff with either a tough convince, the NCR or Primm Slim. If you need some help with this decision, look here.
The McBrides have a bit of a problem. Their brahmin are being killed off in the night by a mysterious and well armed figure. You can offer to find out what’s causing all this destruction with a short stakeout and complete this unmarked quest in Fallout: New Vegas.
There are several companion missions available in Fallout: New Vegas. One of the easier companion quests to get is “Heartache by the Number” for Cass. You can help her avenge her lost men and find out who has been destroying the caravans around the Mojave Wasteland.
There’s a bit of trouble in Freeside. The Kings are trying to take care of the locals, which is proving difficult because of tensions between NCR settlers and the local population. G.I. Blues will help you earn a favor with the King and either fan the flames or help them come to a truce.
