If you’re annoyed by the bandits and highwaymen in Kirkwall, you can take some actions to clear them out in a more permanent manner. This means taking them out, until you can find their hideout and kill the leader to scatter the group in the long term.
If you want a fairly quick quest to protect a dwarf lord and get a few extra coins for your effort, then pick up “Last of His Line.” This will mean taking out a few Carta assassins and a whole lot of thugs and grunts, or betraying the lord for the Carta.
It’s just natural to pick up a little work from a savvy merchant, especially if you want to have an excuse to take out very large numbers of bandits that have done nothing to you. We’ll need to raid a rebel Qunari base for fun and glory to please Javaris and get the ball rolling with the deal.
Shepherding Wolves is one of the longer quests and will introduce the Qunari side of the conflict. You’ll need to work with Petrice and the chantry for a bit of a stealth escort mission through Darktown, and face off with a set of Qunari who don’t want him to leave.
One of the few consequences of your choice of careers will be the Loose Ends side quest. Meeran’s side of the quest will give you an opportunity for a little money for a simple assassination/rescue mission.
We actually need to fall for the old Bait and Switch in this one. If you want to add Fenris to your party, you will need to go through a long fight against some smugglers and then some Tevinter hunters and finally a few abominations. It’s a long fight, but there’s some good loot too.
If you want a fairly quick mission that will net you a few coins, then look into doing this side quest. You’ll need to eavesdrop on a meeting, and then take out two raider captains to earn a few easy coins from a random woman in the bar.
Finders Keepers is a fairly simple quest that you can do for Isabela. You’ll get a chance to get a few coins and a little favor with Isabela for just killing a group of raiders and securing some cargo.
We need to help Anders help a friend of his. It seems that the templars want to make Karl a tranquil, so we need to get him out. This fairly easy companion quest for Anders will let your recruit a new mage with some useful powers, and get the Grey Warden’s map that you desperately need.
The Bone Pit is a poorly named mine that has apparently been overrun by dragons. If you’d like to get some good money, it’s a great side quest. If you need some help clearing out the dragons and dragonlings, or finishing off the mature dragon at the end, just look here.
