To Bowl or Not To Bowl?
If you love Elf Bowling at Christmas, then Zombie Bowl-A-Rama will completely thrill you. This great Halloween take on our favorite little Elf Bowling style will have you laughing your behind off - and you will find that you can't stop playing this great Big Fish Games title. Let me show you why this is one of those great bowling games that you simply have to own, even if you hate bowling!

Well, there really isn't much of a story line here - but what is there is still funny. Basically, you were out bowling one night when zombies attacked. Now, you have to bowl your way out of the bowling alley with nothing but a bowling ball. During the game, you will have some funny words with the zombie horde that you're trying to bowl through and you'll find yourself laughing all the while. Just like in Elf Bowling, this is one of those great bowling games that even those that hate bowling will find fun to play at any time of the day or night.

Game Play In Zombie Bowl-A-Rama
Basically, the game play in Zombie Bowl-A-Rama is pretty easy - in theory. You have to bowl your way through the zombie horde at the end of the lane - just as if they were pins. You'll be able to pick up perks (such as making your ball go faster) and hazards for the zombies that you're bowling against (such as honey to make their ball sticky and slow). The zombies will taunt you, and you will taunt back - just like in Elf Bowling - and you will end up cracking up throughout the whole game. You do have to really work to get the zombies back as if you miss them on your turn, they will come forward more and other zombies will appear behind them. So, if you don't work at getting them back, you'll end up with them right up on you.
The end of your bowling turn is almost as much fun as bowling itself - as you get to watch what funny stuff the zombies will do after you throw the ball. They do so much, but my personal favorite is when they take out their eye balls and juggle them... that's just too great. I mean, in Elf Bowling, I like it when they moon you - you just want to throw the ball again.
You can play against the computer here or play a multi-player game with a friend. Either way, Zombie Bowl-A-Rama is superbly fun and you will find that anyone in your family can take on this set of free bowling games and have a great time with it.

In grand Elf Bowling tradition, the graphics in Zombie Bowl-A-Rama offer up some sweet bowling games fun. The graphics here are pretty much the same as in other bowling games by Big Fish Games, as you can see from the screenshots below. The zombies are funny looking, with huge eyes, tiny limbs, and bloated bellies. The also lumber along as the move, giving even more comedy to this great Big Fish Games title. The lane and environment in the bowling alley are pretty standard, but they are zombie themed of course.
What I really like here is that you have a ton of avatars to choose from as well as different bowling balls that you can play - even a zombie head. You will find that this is one of those great bowling games that you'll absolutely love to play no matter what time of year it is.

Sounds and Audio
This is one of the very few casual games that I give a 5 out of 5 to when it comes to sounds and audio. The very first thing I noticed when I turned the game on is that the music is not that cheesy old elevator music - it's actually like metal music! It makes you get ready to get in a bowl some zombies down! The sound effects are all absolutely superb in the game as well - the zombies moan and grunt at you during the game, which is downright funny. I love everything about the sounds and audio in Zombie Bowl-A-Rama, and I bet that you will too. This is not one of those games that I'd recommend you playing with the sounds off!
