A Guide to the Killer Challenges in Call of Duty 4

Page content

Are you up to the challenge?

When playing Call of Duty 4 online, you gain experience points based on feats you perform in the game. On top of your regular experience gained from killing enemy soldiers, you can also get bonuses for performing some specific actions. Many of these can be attained simply by playing the game, though some require special effort. If you set out to accomplish all of these Challenges, you will rise in level much faster.

The Killer Challenges are the third set of challenges that are given to you in the game. They come available a few at a time, starting at level 30 and adding more up to level 39. At level 42, the Humiliation Challenges will become available. You are not required to complete any of these before going to the next set of challenges. Most of these Killer ones can be accomplished simply by playing the game.

Call of Duty 4 Killer Challenges:

Claymore Shot (250 xp) - Kill five enemies with Claymores.

Simply plant some claymores and wait for an enemy soldier to set it off.

Assault Expert I, II and III (50, 100, and 250 xp) - Kill 5, 25 and 35 enemies with a headshot while using an assault rifle.

Just aim for the head. This will also help you get better equipment depending on the weapon you use.

SMG Expert I, II and III (50, 100, and 250 xp) - Kill 5, 25 and 35 enemies with a headshot while using a SMG.

Just aim for the head. This will also help you get better equipment depending on the weapon you use.

LMG Expert I, II and III (50, 100, and 250 xp) - Kill 5, 25 and 35 enemies with a headshot while using a LMG.

Just aim for the head. This will also help you get better equipment depending on the weapon you use.

Last Stand Veteran I, II and III (50, 100, and 250 xp) - Kill 1, 5 and 15 enemies while in Last Stand.

You’d be surprised how many people you can take out using Last Stand. Just know that some players online don’t like it on their servers.

Master Chef I, II and III (50, 100, and 250 xp) - Kill 5, 10 and 20 enemies with a cooked grenade.

Just press and hold the grenade throwing button a little longer before you toss the grenade.

Airstrike Veteran I, II and III (50, 100, and 250 xp) - Kill 5, 15 and 30 enemies with Airstrikes.

To maximize your Airstrike kills, wait until somebody does a UAV right before you launch the strike.

Chopper Veteran I, II and III (50, 100, and 250 xp) - Kill 5, 15 and 30 enemies with a Helicopter.

After you’ve called in a few choppers, the numbers will add up.

Stun Veteran I, II and III (50, 100, and 250 xp) - Kill 5, 10 and 25 enemies that are stunned by a Stun grenade.

In the heat of combat, you’ll probably end up getting a lot of enemy soldiers that were stunned without you knowing it.

Multi RPG (250 xp) - Kill two enemies with one rocket from a RPG-7.

This isn’t too hard. Just find a high traffic area and fire into it.

Martyrdom Veteran I, II and III (50, 100, and 250 xp) - Kill 1, 5 and 15 enemies with grenades dropped by Martyrdom.

These numbers will add up quickly, but you should know that Martyrdom is frowned upon on many online servers. Some don’t even allow it at all.

Claymore (250 xp) - Kill two enemies with one Claymore.

The best way to get this one is put it in a hallway or covering a door in a high traffic area.

Stealth I, II and III (50, 100, and 250 xp) - Kill 10, 25 and 50 enemies with a weapon equipped with a supressed weapon.

This one is pretty easy to get. Just remember that silencers shorten the effective range of weapons.

Invisible I, II and III (50, 100, and 250 xp) - Kill 10, 25 and 50 enemies with a Sniper rifle while prone.

If you’re going to use a sniper rifle, you’d best be prone, anyway.

Counter-Claymore I, II and III (50, 100, and 250 xp) - Kill 1, 5 and 10 enemies by shooting a claymore.

You’ll get this one over time. It helps to shoot the claymores through walls.

Counter-C4 I, II and III (50, 100, and 250 xp) - Kill 1, 5 and 10 enemies by shooting C4.

Just like the claymore challenge, it’s easiest to shoot the C4 through walls.
