Location of the 30 Laptops in Call of Duty 4

The online multiplayer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Reflex Edition isn’t the only thing to keep you coming back. There are 30 laptops hidden through the single player campaign_,_ and if you’re a true hardcore gamer, you’ll want them.

Crew Expendable - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

This is the first mission in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, in which you’re infiltrating a tanker on the high seas. You’ll find the first laptop in the bunkroom that the drunken Russian comes stumbling out of.

The second laptop you’ll find when your team infiltrates the first cargo hold. After entering the hold, go down the first set of stairs and look to your left. It will be out in the open.

Black Out - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

When you start the mission, there will be a shack to your left with two terrorists in it. The laptop is inside that shack.

Towards the very end of the mission, the laptop will be in a bathroom on the second floor of the house that the informant is in. You’ll need to spot it with the nightvision goggles.

Charlie Don’t Surf - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

This is when you over as the Marine in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. When you enter the building that you think Al-Asad is in, you’ll find a basement full of weapons. Head into the basement and look for the corner room to your left. The laptop is in that room.

This one is a little tricky to explain. With the TV station marker on your mini-map pointed towards the north, head south until you find a building full of snipers. The insides will be blue. The laptop is on the second floor.

This is another tricky one. When you spot a large pile of wrecked cars, there should be a staircase leading up to the second floor of a house. Go up the stairs. You’ll know you’ve found the right place if there are a couple of boards bridging two rooftops.

The Bog - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

At the beginning of the mission, you’ll storm an apartment. On the second floor, watch where your team goes. They’ll storm a room that contains the laptop.

In the marketplace, you’ll find a fridge. Face it dead on, swivel around the opposite way, and you should find a stack of boxes. The laptop is behind those boxes.

Hunted - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

After you leave the second greenhouse, go along the building to the left. The laptop will be in an area with a sheet metal rooftop.

War Pig - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

After your soldiers blow up the tank, you’ll find a right turn at the end of the street. The house on the right side of the corner holds a laptop on the second floor. Same goes for the house on the left side of the corner.

At one point in this Call of Duty: Modern Warfare mission, you’ll storm a building that was being guarded by a couple machine gun nests. The laptop is on the second floor of that building.

Shock and Awe - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

Once you find the stranded platoon, the laptop is on the second floor of that building.

This is one of the more difficult sections in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, as you’ll be getting a lot of fire from multiple sides. Adding to your trouble is a machine gun nest. Flush out that building and you’ll find the laptop on the second floor.

Safehouse - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

The first house you see in this mission should have a satellite dish on the back. Search the second floor for the laptop.

Look for a big restaurant near a water tower. Inside, you’ll find the laptop on the first floor in one of the booths.

All Ghillied Up - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

The first laptop in this Call of Duty: Modern Warfare mission is in the church, at the top of the bell tower. Watch out for the helicopter while getting this one.

In the center of the area with the shipping crates, there’s a laptop near three enemies. If you’re quick, you can collect it without being spotted.

At one point in the level, after passing underneath the trucks, you’ll spot an enemy sniper up on a fire escape. The laptop is in the room he’s next to.

One Shot, One Kill - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

The first laptop in this mission involves another fire escape. After you escape the building where MacMillan says “Let’s try to lose them in there,” immediately turn right and you should spot a ladder. Quickly climb the fire escape to get the laptop.

The last one in this mission is both hard to explain and hard to pull off. During the final fight of the mission, with your back to the ferris wheel, face east towards an apartment building. Walk towards the building and approach the hole in the white picket fence. To the southeast, you should see a closed door. The laptop is in that room, but the door won’t open until the fight starts.

Sins of the Father - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

You have to be quick to get the first laptop in this mission. Once you enter the firefight in the restaurant, head into the diner and turn left. The laptop is one of the tables.

This is the 25th laptop in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. After you take the “alley to the left,” you’ll come across a green car and a red dumpster. Take a right, mow down some Russians, and head up the stairs into the building. There are some Russians inside, but there’s also a laptop.

Ultimatum - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

When you breach the abandoned base, there’s a motor pool across the courtyard that enemies emerge from. The laptop is in a small room in the back of that building.

You’ve almost found every location of the 30 laptops in Call of Duty 4! After you destroy the armor but before you go in the gate, you’ll see some buildings to your right with RPG guys on top. The laptop is behind the building closest to the silo.

At the back of the silo base, in the farthest south hangar bear the farthest south missile tank. You’ll find the laptop in here.

No Fighting in the War Room - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

The final two laptops in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare are in this mission. The first is near the start of the level. After leaving the bathroom, head down the hallway to your left. You should eventually come to a room on your left with the laptop. If you hit the stairs, you’ve gone too far.

The very last laptop is in the main control room where you enter the abort codes, in a small connected room. You’ve done it!
