Well, the Pilgrim’s Path is secure but there’s still a lot of darkspawn hiding out in the nearby Silverite mine. We need to to clear them out if we want the Wending Woods to be truly secure. This doesn’t go as planned though, so we’ll need to fight our way out of the dungeon.
If you want to secure the Pilgrim’s Path for some lucrative trade in the region, then you really need to kill all of the evil stuff in the Wending Woods. There are scavengers, darkspawn and a lot of evil sylvans who want to stop us. If you need any help finding your way, then look here.
It only makes sense that the merchants in Amaranthine could use a good traveling hero. There’s a lot of work to be done and it’s all for pretty good money. You can even do most of these while your wandering around the Blackmarsh and the Wending Woods.
The Chanter’s Board is still a great source of money and experience in Dragon Age: Awakening. The Chantry in Amaranthine has a few missions for you and I’m here to tell you how to beat them. If you need any help cleaning up Amaranthine or gathering supplies, then look here.
We’re through the Fade and into the version of Blackmarsh in the other realm. We need to decide whether we wish to support the Spirit of Justice or the Baroness in the war with the town. We also need to kill one or the other and then kill the Baroness back in the real world.
Our efforts to fight the darkspawn will demand that we move onward to the Blackmarsh to find the only surviving Grey Warden from Vigil’s Keep, Kristoff. Things aren’t as they seem though. The darkspawn are here and a whole lot of enemies plague the swamps along Kristoff’s trail.
As the new commander of Vigil’s Keep and the Arl of Amaranthine, you have a few missions. You can save a ransomed daughter, drive back some darkspawn from a lord’s farm and seize some very profitable salvage. If you need any help with these lordly duties, then look here.
It seems that there are a whole lot of darkspawn around a big crack in the ground. There’s a whole series of Deep Roads that we need to clear, along with the ancient dwarf fortress of Kal’Hirol. We’ll have one long battle ahead of us to kill a broodmother and a whole lot of darkspawn.
Vigil’s Keep isn’t completely safe just yet. The paths below the fortress have some connections to the Deep Roads in the nearby area. We need to go down and cut through the hordes of darkspawn to ultimately seal off the tunnel and close off one path of attack.
The Blackmarsh has several cool side quests to work on while you’re searching for Kristoff: The Trail of Love, The Burden of Guilt, The Lost Dragon Bones, Tears in the Fade and The Summoning Circle. Just look here if you need help with these Dragon Age Awakening side quests.
