Mastering Alchemy in World of Warcraft - Wow Alchemy Mini Guide - Pt 4
From 375 and beyond, the specialties that await…
So, you are now at level 300 in your Alchemy. It was not easy, but you are there. So, now you are ready to move on up and hit level 375 and get that specialization so you can start really raking in the gold.
From level 300 – 315: Volatile Healing Potion – You will need to make 20 of these. You can sell them for some good cash on the auction house.
From level 315 – 330: Sneaking Potion – You need to make 20 of these. You will actually be surprised at how well these will sell on the auction house.
From level 330 – 350: Super Healing Potion – You need to make 20 of these. And, these sell for a lot of cash as well as higher level players scoop them up for raids and instances.
From level 350 – 375: Major Dreamless Sleep Potion – You need to make 40 of these. You can keep half and sell the rest, as they will bring in a ton of gold here. NOTE: you have to purchase this recipe, as no trainers offer it. You can find it at the Allerian Stronghold in Terrokar Forest from Leeli Longhaggle and from the Thunderlord Stronghold in Blades Edge Mountains from Daga Ramba.
Once you hit level 350 in Alchemy and you are level 68 or higher, you can choose one of the three specializations that Alchemy has to offer. The three masteries are: elixir, potion, or transmutation. Here is a breakdown of all three so you will know which one may be right for your playing style:
Elixir – These masters get to be able to create multiple elixirs and flasks by just using the materials for one. Of course, there is no real guarantee that you’ll get a certain number – or even more than one, but when it does, you get from 2-5 instead of just one.
Potion – These masters get to be able to create multiple potions using the materials for just making one potion. Just like the elixir masters, there is no guarantee that you’ll get more than one, but if it does, you will usually get between 2-5 extra potions.
Transmutation – These masters get to create multiple transmutes from the materials that you only need for one. And, of course, just like the other two, you don’t have a guarantee that you’ll get more… but when you do, you can rake in the cash. This is my personal favorite and the way that you can make some good money.
So, there you have it – you are now level 375 in Alchemy and you have a good mastery to stand on and make some good money from your profession!
