Dead Rising 2: Hidden Combo Cards Guide
Chuck needs all the help he can get in his efforts to decimate the thralls of undead, and nothing gets the job done better than a duct-taped combination weapon. For some of the more inventive weapons, Chuck needs some inspiration. Throughout Fortune City you’ll find advertisements, announcements, and posters galore; what we’re interested in are movie posters. These posters depict a character in the film wielding an unorthodox but deadly weapon that Chuck can replicate with the right components.
There are nine hidden combo cards and seven of them are found via movie posters. The remaining two are located using more unconventional means. Hunting down all nine earns the Curiously Inventive achievement as an added bonus to the cool weapons you’ll be able to craft.

Tenderizers (MMA Gloves + Box of Nails)
Location: Royal Flush Plaza, Americana Casino Entrance
Poster: Blood Round 4
Description: This poster is difficult to miss. In the Royal Flush Plaza, head to the wide set of doors that lead to Americana Casino, then turn around while facing the doors. You’ll see this poster directly in front of you. -
Blambow (Bow and Arrow + Dynamite)
Location: Food Court, Cucina Donnacci
Poster: Revenginator 7
Description: On the exterior wall of the restaurant Cucina Donnacci, between Cucina and Wild West Grill House. -
Freedom Bear (Robot Bear + LMG)
Location: Yucatan Casino, Bathroom
Poster: Stop Or My Bear Will Shoot
Description: Head to the bathroom at the north end of the casino. It is hanging on a wall in the hallway right before reaching the bathroom. -
Paddlesaw (Chainsaw + Paddle)
Location: Silver Strip, Hot Excitorama
Poster: Paddle Party Massacre
Description: Directly across from the Hot Excitorama entrance, in the middle of the strip. -
Laser Sword (Gems + Flashlight)
Location: Platinum Strip, Paradise Platinum Screens
Poster: Laser Knight
Description: This poster is found within the cinema on Platinum Strip. Head inside, and the poster is just to the right of the refreshments counter. -
Holy Arms (Training Sword + Box of Nails)
Location: Atlantica Casino, Fortune Park Entrance
Poster: Pit Viking
Description: Enter Atlantica Casino from Fortune Park, and hug the right wall. Move past the large fountain and keep following the curved wall. Eventually you will come upon the poster. -
Snowball Cannon (Fire Extinguisher + Water Gun)
Location: Palisades Mall, Ned’s Knicknackery
Poster: Dr. Brainfreeze
Description: On the wall immediately to the left of the front entrance of Ned’s Knicknackery.

Burning Skull (Bull Skull + Motor Oil)
Location: Silver Strip, One Little Duck Bingo
Description: Right outside the bingo hall you’ll see a Fortune Whisperer. You can feed money into the device to churn out advice and Prestige Points (PP). Keep forking over cash until you can’t give him any more, and he will give you this combo card. It takes about $1,200,000 to exhaust the machine and get the card. -
Wingman (Nectar + Queen)
Description: Though this secret combo card has its own achievement tied to it, it is also required for the Curiously Inventive achievement. A detailed guide on acquiring this card can be found here.
