Morrowind Elder Scrolls III - Armorer Master Skill Trainers in the Elder Scrolls III PC Game

Armorer

Someone once said ‘Old soldiers never die, they simply fade away’. This is assuming that their armour and weapons are not worn out of course, or they may not even get to the ‘old’ stage. If you have a fighting character it is handy to train him in the Armorer skill, as well as equipping him with the appropriate repairing items which are also found from some of the Master Trainers.

The Master Trainers for this skill are easy to find and get to, since the skill isn’t particularly exotic and just requires honing a craft. Most are located in the many forts and garrisons in the game although there are some of the lower level trainer hidden away in the Ashlander camps.

Armorer Master Trainers in Morrowind

Sirollus Saccus – Saccus works for the Empire as a smith and you can find him at the Hawkmoth Legion Garrison, in Ebonheart which is reached via Vivec. He is a famed smith in the game and can train all the way to 100 points in the Armorer skill, equipping your player with the ability to repair any kind of weapon or plate up to new conditions.

Being a famed smith, he also has the best repair armor in the game which you can buy from him although understandably expensive. He is one of the richest merchants in the game, with quite a lot of gold, and also offers restocks for glass and stell arrows, together with trading simple armour plates such as the Netch armour. You will need to wear your full uniform (Imperial plate) if you are a member of the Legion and wish to initiate conversation with Saccus.

Note: Although he is listed in the toolset as a master trainer, there is a problem in-game which doesn’t allow him to offer this service. This is easily fixed in the patch which you can download here

Avus Belvilo – He is a member of House Hlaalu and you can find him in the Dren Plantation, living in one of the storage shacks there. He will train up to 70 points in the Armorer skill, which makes him second only to the current master trainer of the skill. He offers no other services or books about his training skills.
