Morrowind Master Trainers Guide to the Destruction Spell School - Master Skill Trainers in the Elder Scrolls III

Page content

Destruction

Destruction is the arcane school most favoured by battle mages, although general mages and sorcerers also use it to basic levels. If you are concentrating on battle magic, then you will need training in this school since it will take a long time if you are aiming to gain points solely by fighting creatures; you will never use a single school of magic when fighting as a mage.

The master trainer for this skill is somewhat hidden, and you will have to do some searching before finding her. She isn’t in a named location or landmark but simply stands idle in a road in the Ascadian Isles region. First head to Piernette’s Farmhouse by going towards the Silt Strider in the town of Vivec, and heading northeast and north. Once you’re in Piernette’s Farmhouse head east and you will soon meet the master trainer for this skill.

Destruction Trainers in Morrowind

Leles Birian – The Breton is located somewhere in the Ascadian isles. She can train all the way to 100 points in Destruction, and also offers to teach some rare spells in the school of Alteration and Mysticism. These spells include Great Feather, to lessen the weight you carry, Slowfall, to fall gracefully when a levitation spell ends, or Spelldrinker spells. Aside from known spells she is also a spell-maker and can craft a specific spell you may require. Birian is not a member of any faction and isn’t involved in any quests.

Erer Darothril – A Dunmer mage who is often seen hanging around in Muriel’s club in Sadrith Mora. Despite his looks he isn’t associated with Telvannis, although living in a town under Telvanni control helps one become accustomed to powerful magic. He will train up to 81 points in Destruction and also offers spell-teaching and spell-making services. He is also mentioned in the book ‘Silence’ found in the Urshilaku Ashlander camp.

Procyon Nigilius – Nigilius is an Imperial and can be found in Wolverine Hall. If you need lower-level training you can visit Nigilius, and he will get you up to 58 points of Destruction training. He is a member of the mages guild and a famed Warlock.
