Morrowind Master Skill Trainers - Block Skill Master Trainers in the Elder Scrolls III

Block

The Block skill is essential if you are playing a fighter, as it will diminish the impact of enemy melee attacks and as a result lessens the blow. The trainers for this skill aren’t difficult to reach at all, perhaps due to the nature of the skill which isn’t difficult to learn without trainers anyway. You simply need to get in a fight to improve your blocking, and there are a lot of hostile encounters in the game.

However, you may want to improve your skill quicker nonetheless, and that is why this guide exists. All you need to do is travel to the Ashlands, and move south of Ald’Ruhn to the Buckmoth Legion Fort. It is here that you will find the Block Master Trainer, and being in the vicinity of a populated area, it isn’t a difficult journey.

Block Skill Master Trainers in Morrowind

Shardie – Good old Shardie is short and stout, but don’t let that fool you as she certainly is hard to hit. She can train all the way up to 100 points in the skill and is found in the courtyard of the Buckmoth Legion Fort. You will also find the book ‘The Hope of the Redoran’, which speaks about her in proud tones. Remember that if you are a member of the Imperial Legion, you will always need to wear a uniform when speaking with a higher member, as is the case with Shardie. They will wonder at your slackness and lack of discipline otherwise…

Mertis Falandas – The Dunmer is found inside the lower levels in the temple outposts in Ghostgate. The Tower of Dusk is where you will find him, and he takes great pride in his Glass Armour and in his Crusade against the Corprus abominations. He can train up to 68 points in the Block skill, if you aren’t looking for high points.

Larrius Varro – Quite a popular character in the game, as he is the current Champion of the Imperial Legion. He is found in the Moonmoth Legion Fort and can train up to 64 points in Blocking. There is also an interesting quest related to Varro, where he asks to eliminate some ‘unsavoury’ characters by less-than-legal means. A Shady request for a Champion.
