Tradeskills are indispensable in Everquest 2, providing everything from incredible weapons and armor to delicious food and drink to keep adventurers fighting at peak condition.
The Wizard is a brilliant arcane warrior that weaves the magic of the elements into devastating spells that do massive amounts of damage in a short period of time. They also have powerful area of effect abilities that can transform small armies into piles of charred meat.
Warlocks are the most powerful area of effect damage class in the game, focusing on the elements of disease and poison to bring their enemies to the point of collapse. They work particularly well with Defilers, who can debuff their targets’ resistance to those elements significantly.
The troubadour is a neutral bard that enjoys playing rousing music for their party, increasing their ability to fight against the monstrous denizens of Norrath and recover from the wearying effects of battle.
The Templar is a good cleric that specializes in healing, particularly in keeping a main tank alive through serious incoming damage. Along with their evil counterpart the Inquisitor, this class has an ability to let their “overhealed” damage apply after their target receives more hits.
The Swashbuckler is a dashing, lightly armored scout class known for their dazzling swordplay. They require good reflexes, as they must chain together a variety of attacks to find an opening in their enemies.
The shadowknight is the evil flipside of the paladin. They’re a plate wearing death crusader that uses lifetaps, heavy armor, massive weapons and undead pets to cause havoc in the shattered world of Norrath. They’re capable tanks, but they also do lots of damage with their weapons and spells.
The ranger is a strong scout class that focuses on dealing physical ranged damage, with some melee harassment skills thrown in there. They chiefly use their bow to kill from afar, only occasionally switching to their melee weapons to dispatch creatures that get close to them.
The paladin is a holy warrior that can fulfill a variety of roles. They wear heavy plate armor, can wield a variety of weapons, and can cast heals and buff their allies.
