Need for Speed: Shift is a big title for the series, as it serves as a “reboot” of a franchise which has lost its identity. But Shift itself seems to be having a bit of an identity crisis, resulting in a reboot that seems to have blue-screened.
Need for Speed: Shift has the realism they claim, but it isn’t a unique driving experience that hasn’t been developed before. The new real-time experience system is innovative and clever and puts you right in the action. Small changes, but they combine with traditional parts to create a great game.
