Battling those Toasters
Batlestar Galactica on the PS2 is more fun than watching the show ever was. At least here you don’t have to put up with all that dialogue or a gender reassignment for your favorite character. Playing Battlestar Galactica you’ll find out that it’s not that easy flying a Viper and taking on all those metal, human-killing machines. So finding ways to cheat is the answer. Hey, that’s only human isn’t it? You have to win at all costs. Here goes…
Wingmen are Vital
Beat the game once in Normal mode to unlock the All Wingmen Cheat.
Complete the first mission with an “A” grade while playing in the Expert mode to unlock the Select Your Wingmen menu. Now you can select how many wingmen you want to accompany you as well as their strengths. This will boost your chances against those toasters.
Special Abilities are Good
Having special abilities can really come in handy, especially when you’re outnumbered and surrounded. So turn the tables on the baddies in this fashion:
Complete Mission 2 while playing in Expert mode to receive unlimited missiles.
Complete Misson 9 while playing in Expert mode to receive invincibility.
Choose Your Flyboy and FlyGirl
Press Down, Down, Left, Down, Down, Up, Right, Right on the controller to make Starbuck and Apollo your Wingmen by entering this code in the Extras menu. Enter the code quickly in about 6 seconds once you start. Once you hear the Cylon say “By Your Command” you know that the code has been accepted.
Take A Peek
There are hidden pictures from the mini-series that you can view, providing you know what to do. Which, of course, we do. You just have to enter the following codes in the Extras menu.
Unlock a mini-series picture by pressing Up, Up, Up, Down, Down, Down, Left, Right.
Unlock another mini-series picture by pressing Right, Right, Up, Up, Left, Left, Up, Up.
For a master unlock, press Up, Down, Down, Left, Left, Left, Left, Right, Right, Left, Left, Up, Up, Left, Left, Down, Left, Right.
