When it comes to Need for Speed Most Wanted, there are actually only a few cheat codes that you can use to unlock certain challenges, cars, and more without completing a special area or difficulty. So, here are the few that are out there for this PS2 console game:
To Unlock the Burger King Challenge, hit Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right in that specific order. This will unlock a special, fun to play challenge that you’ll love.
To unlock the Syntec Ford GT, hit Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Down, Up, Down in that specific order, and you’ll get this awesome car to drive.
To unlock the Junkman Engine Part for your car, simply hit Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Up, then Down in that specific order and you’ll gain this part for your cars.
To unlock the Porsche Cayman to cruise around in, hit the following: L1, R1, R1, R1, Right, Left, Right, Down in that specific order (make sure that you hit the R1 three times in a row), and you’ll get this super sweet ride.
To unlock the Castrol Ford GT, hit Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right and you will unlock this car to add to your collection.
Unlockable Cars
Now, there are only those three cars that you can unlock with cheat codes. The other cars that you’ll want to gain are all unlocked by defeating specific areas and bosses in the game. While some are automatic, others you will have to really work at to get. So, here is the list of bosses that you will need to beat and the cars that are unlocked by defeating them:
Blacklist Boss #1: BMW GTR
Blacklist Boss #3: Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren and Porsche Carrera GT

Blacklist Boss #5: Corvette C6 and Porsche 911 Turbo S
Blacklist Boss #6: Lamborguini Gallardo and Dodge Biper SRT 10

Unlockable Levels

Defeat Blacklist #13’s rival, and you’ll unlock the heat level 3.
Defeat Blacklist #9’s rival and you’ll unlock the heat level 4.
Defeat Blacklist #5’s rival and you’ll unlock the heat level 5.
Defeat the final challenge in the series mode when Sgt. Cross joins in the pursuit and you’ll unlock heat level 6.
Defeat #13 on your Blacklist and you will unlock the Camden Beach area to race and run.
Defeat #9 on your Blacklist and you’ll unlock Rockport City area to race and run.
