Mercenaries 2: World in Flames was put out by EA and Pandemic Studios in August of 2008. It was a third person shooter, set in an open world environment, that follows a mercenary in Venezuela. The game has received good reviews and sales/rentals. For the Xbox 360 version of Mercenaries 2: World in Flames there are several achievements that you can earn. This will tell you the titles, how to earn them, and how many gamerscore points you’ll get for it.

Most of the original development team came back to make Mercenaries 2, and you can tell in the gameplay. However there will always be those that will bring the game home and fire up the computer to find cheat codes before ever playing the game. For those that just have to have their cheat codes, this will be the ones they’ll want to know.

Cheat codes for Mercenaries 2 are those that can be entered and the items be there instantly, then there are those unlockables that you have to do something in the game in order to “unlock” the item for game play. This article will list both the cheat codes for the ones that you have to have Right Now, and the unlockables that you can earn by gameplay.

These cheat codes are entered after activating the PDA and bringing up the cheat mode. To do this, press L2, R2, R2, L2, R2, L2, L2, R2, R2, R2, L2. This should bring up the cheat mode and then you can put in the following codes to get the desired effects in Mercenaries 2.

Cheat Codes

Unlimited Ammunition – Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, and Left.

Invincibility – Up, Down, Left, Down, Right, and Right.

All Vehicles – Up, Down, Left, Right, Right, and Left.

Nuke Airstrike – Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, and Left.

Refill Fuel – Up, Up, Up, Down, Down, and Down.

All Airstrikes but the Nuke – Right, Left, Down, Up, Right, Left, Down, and Up.

All Supplies – Left, Right, Right, Left, Up, Up, Left, and Up.

Grappling Hook – Up, Left, Down, Right, and Up.

All the Costumes – Up, Right, Down, Left, and Up.

 Bonus Items

MOAB Bomb – You need to finish all the HVT missions for the Allied Nations.

Diplomat Heavy Tank – Destroy for the Allied Nations the targeted buildings.

Ambassador Gunship – Finish successfully level 3 of the Helicopter flying mission.

Nuclear Bunker Buster – To get this, finish successfully the “Get Solano Part 2” final contract mission and you will unlock it for purchase for $1,000,000 from Eva.

Achievements

10 Gamerscore Point

  • Eat the Heat – You must try accelerating and braking at the same time.
  • Heavy Metal Thunder – Complete 10 action hijacks successfully
  • Be Quick or Be Dead – Snipe 50 enemy vehicle drivers
  • No More Mr. Nice Guy – Make all factions hostile.
  • Highway to Hell – Complete three different races.
  • Ride the Dragon – You must hijack the tank in the villa.
  • Dirty Deeds – Achieve the maximum Universal Petroleum mood.
  • Island of Domination – Achieve the maximum Pirate mood.
  • Forever Free – Achieve the maximum P.L.A.V mood.
  • Longing for Fire – Achieve the maximum Chinese mood.
  • Stand Up and Shout – Achieve the maximum Allies mood.

20 Gamerscore Point

  • Pipeline – For a single faction, capture all the outposts.
  • Armageddon It – Destroy 20 buildings for this achievement.
  • Shoot to Thrill – Get a total of 25 headshots.
  • Hail and Kill – Using melee, destroy 50 objects.
  • Holy Smoke – With a grenade, destroy 50 objects.
  • Little Savage – With an RPG launcher, destroy 50 objects.
  • Wild One – Recruit Ewan for this title.
  • Balls to the Wall – Beat the Winching Challenge three times.
  • Gone Shootin’ – Finish off one of Fiona’s Challenges.
  • Digital Man – Unlock all the shop items.
  • The Rage – You need to complete “Rescue Carmona”
  • School’s Out – Complete the tutorial.
  • The Analog Kid – You need to recruit Misha.
  • Oil and Gasoline – Recruit Eva for this one.
  • Runnin’ With the Devil – Verify Blanco.
  • You Better Run – Verify Carmona.
  • No Compromise, No Regrets – You need to battle for Caracas 

25 Gamerscore Point Achievements

  • Tattooed Millionaire – Earn $1,000,000 in game.
  • Billion Dollar Babies – Earn $1,000,000,000 in game

50 Gamerscore Point

  • Partners in Crime – Play with a friend in co-op.
  • Damage, Inc – In co-op, use 20 air strikes.
  • And Justice for All – Verify all high value targets for this title.
  • We’ll Burn the Sky – Unlock all the landing zones for this one.
  • Wheels of Steel – During a co-op race, come in first.
  • Nothin’ But a Good Time – From a gunner seat in co-op, destroy 200 objects.
  • Everybody Wants Some – Play with a mercenaries 2 developer or a player or play with someone that has done this.
  • Hello, Hooray – Acquire the PMC.
  • The Hero and the Madman – Complete Mercenaries 2.
  • Aces High – Capture all the high value targets.
