WWE Legends of Wrestlemania Cheats
Released in March 2009, this wrestling title allows you to rewrite sports entertainment history in the comfort of your own home. We've got some handy cheat codes, plus info on unlockables and achievements for this Xbox 360 smash hit.
As we first discussed in our December 2008 preview of the game, WWE Legends of Wrestlemania is an Xbox 360 and Sony Playstation 3 title that allows wrestling fans to play as some of their all-time old-school favorites, including Hulk Hogan, Bret "Hitman" Hart, "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig, The Rock and the Ultimate Warrior. The game features several incredible modes, including the Wrestlemania Tour Mode and the Legend Killer mode. The game has received mostly positive reviews thus far, and if you're among those currently enjoying this unique WWE title, here are come cheats and tips to help you out!
Alternate Costume Codes
Several of the wrestlers and managers featured in Legends of Wrestlemania come with alternate sets of attire that can be unlocked. Fortunately, WWE.com was nice enough to leak a few codes for the game for those who want to sample the goods without earning them the hard way.
For Shawn Michaels' old Rockers gear, enter ShawnsSweetChinMusic at the Password screen.
To unlock the alternate "Legion of Doom 2000" gear for the Road Warriors, you need to enter the codes HawkFromLegionOfDoom for Hawk and TheRoadWarriorAnimal for his tag-team partner Animal.
Enter CobraClutchSlaughter to unlock Sgt. Slaughter's Gulf War era costume, when he teamed with the Iron Sheik as a villain and did battle with Hulk Hogan. Of course, the Sheik was known as Col. Mustafa at the time, and his alternate costume is available by entering IronSheikCamelClutch.
To turn Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake into Hulk Hogan's tag team partner as one-half of the Mega-Maniacs, enter BrutusTheBarberShop! (make sure you include the exclamation point).
Furthermore, alternate outfits are also available for The Undertaker (UndertakersTombstone), The Rock (UnlockTheRockBottom!), "The Bird Man" Koko B. Ware (TheBirdmanKokoBWare!) and the "Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart (WithManagerJimmyHart).
Achievements & Other Unlockables
It probably goes without saying, but playing through the different modes in Legends of Wrestlemania and using some of the game's features included will earn you Xbox 360 Achievements. Winning one medal in Wrestlemania Tour Mode will net you a 30 point "First Medal" Achievement, while winning all of them earns you the 100 point "Medal Collector" title. You can also earn Achievements in this play mode by winning a "Relive" match without pausing and by clearing all of the "Relive" matches.
Believe it or not, just creating your own legend for use in the game is worth a 20 point achievement. Using him in Legend Killer mode, maxing out all of his stats and helping him become the #1 ranked WWE Hall of Famer will also unlock Achievements of 30, 30 and 100 points, respectively. Success in the Legend Killer mode, winning certain matches (like the Royal Rumble), and using a variety of techniques to emerge victorious (like using only grapple attacks or winning with a Chain Struggle) are also feats deemed worthy of Gamerscore Points in Legends of Wrestlemania.
Along the way, you will undoubtedly unlock a wealth of additional content. For starters, while you play through Wrestlemania Tour Mode, you can gain access to new match types by earning medals. One medal will unlock the Steel Cage match, while two will make Hell in the Cell available and three will allow you to participate in the Ironman Match (ala Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart back in the day). Plus, while it isn't really a secret or unlockable per se, you can also import the entire roster from the 360 version of Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 to create some really cool match-ups, such as pitting the LOD vs. Miz and Morrison or having "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase step into the ring his son.
