    Defensive Skills

    Defensive skills are needed when you keep getting attacked right and left. It is this branch of skills that can keep you alive, everyone can go through a longer battle by not being too offensive but defense is where you live or die. This will look at the defensive skills that you will find in Sacred 2: Fallen Angel.

    Armor Lore – This will increase your resistances and raise your maximum item level. It is a primary skill choice for Seraphim, Temple Guardian, Shadow Warrior, Inquisitor, and High Elf. It is a secondary skill choice for the Dryad.

    Combat Reflexes – This increases your chance to dodge and evade, and reduce the chance for any critical hits. It is a primary skill choice for Seraphim, Shadow Warrior, Dryad, and Inquisitor. It is a secondary skill choice for the Temple Guardian.

    Constitution – This will raise your health levels and your health regeneration. It is a primary skill choice for Shadow Warrior. It is a secondary skill choice for the Dryad, High Elf, Seraphim, Inquisitor, and Temple Guardian.

    Pacifism – This will work to reduce your damage that is taken. It is a primary skill choice for no one. It is a secondary skill choice for Dryad, Inquisitor, High Elf, Shadow Warrior, Seraphim, and Temple Guardian.

    Shield Lore – This will increase your effectiveness with a shield. It is a primary skill choice for the Seraphim, the Dryad, and the Shadow Warrior. It is a secondary skill choice for the High Elf.

    Spell Resistances – This will raise your ability to resist spells. It is a primary skill choice for the Dryad, Seraphim, Shadow Warrior, High Elf, Inquisitor, and Temple Guardian. It is a secondary skill choice for the Inquisitor, Seraphim, Shadow Warrior.

    Toughness – This will make you more resistant to damage. It is a primary skill choice for Temple Guardian and Inquisitor. It is a secondary skill choice for the Shadow Warrior and Seraphim.

    Warding Energy Lore – This is only for Seraphims and Temple Guardians and it increases shield energy and damage absorption. It is a primary skill choice of the Temple Guardian and Seraphim and a secondary skill choice of none.
