Part Five of Runescape Skill Farming: Growing Trees in Runescape
Another aspect to the farming skill is to be able to grow trees. These are your own private trees so only you can cut them down, and when you do they will respawn back up for you to be able to cut them again. Only you will be able to use your trees.
Tree Growth Times
Trees take a single seed to plant and they need to be planted in a planting pot. These are your personal trees to chop, afterwards they will respawn. Trees take a Tree Patch.
- Acorn-Oak – This tree takes a farming level of 15 to plant. It will give you 14 experience to plant it and 467.3 experience points to check its health. It will need 140 minutes to grow. These help make super compost and the Axeman’s folly brew.
- Willow – This tree takes a farming level of 30 to plant. It will give you 25 experience points to plant it and 1,456.3 to check its health. It will need 220 minutes to grow. Branches are used for a quest and you can use this in super compost.
- Maple – Maple trees will need you to have a farming level of 45 to plant. It will give you 45 experience points for you to plant it and 3,403.5 experience points for you to check its health. It will need 300 minutes to grow. The roots help in super compost.
- Yew – These trees need you to have a farming level of 60 to plant them. They will give you 81 experience points to plant and 7,069.9 points in experience to check the health of the tree. It will take you 380 minutes to see it grow. Used in extra strong anti-poison and they are used in super compost bins.
- Magic – Magic trees will have to have a farming level of 75 to plant. They will give 145.5 experience points to plant and 13,768.3 to check the health of the tree. It will take 460 minutes for it to grow. It is an ingredient in making the amulet of nature and in super composting.
Fruit Tree Growth Times
Fruit trees take a single seed and a planting pot as well. These can have their fruit picked and it will respawn. Fruit trees take a Fruit Tree patch .All fruit trees will take 880 minutes for them to grow.
- · Apple – These take a farming level of 27. You will get 22 experience points to plant, 1,199.5 experience points to check their health, and 8.6 experience points to harvest. Used in cooking recipes for pies.
- · Banana – These take a farming level of 33. You will get 28 experience points to plant, 1,750.5 experience points to check their health, and 10.5 experience points to harvest. Used in summoning and they are also edible to restore health.
- · Orange – These take a farming level of 39. You will get 35.5 experience points to plant, 2,470.2 experience points to check their health, and 13.5 experience points to harvest. These are edible and can be used as a health restore.
- · Curry – These take a farming level of 42. You will get 40 experience points to plant, 2,906.9 experience points to check their health, and 15 experience points to harvest. These are used in making curry.
- · Pineapple – These take a farming level of 51. You will get 57 experience points to plant, 4,605.7 experience points to check their health, and 21.5 experience points to harvest. Used in cooking and to make super compost.
- · Papaya – These take a farming level of 57. You will get 72 experience points to plant, 6,146.4 experience points to check their health, and 27 experience points to harvest. These are edible and they are used in super compost making.
- · Palm – These take a farming level of 68. You will get 110.5 experience points to plant, 10,150.1 experience points to check their health, and 41.5 experience points to harvest. The coconuts are used in many things like supercomposting and super strong weapon poisons.
Overview
As you can see, the farming skill is wide and varied over what you can plant and do. It is a fun skill and one that is worth paying the members price to be able to do. Now that you know how to prep your lot, how to plant what you want to plant, and all about the harvest times, you’re only going to need to know where the farming plots are.
