Runescape quests do many things, they reward in experience, in skill, and in progressing through the game. If you are wondering if a certain quest will help you out in certain skills, then all you need to do is browse this article series by skill and look to see if the quest is there, if it is you will know what experience points you’ll get for it. Even though this is for Freeplay skills, most of the quests in the list are for members only. The ones for the freeplay players are marked (Free). These are given in addition to their Quest Points.

Magic Skill

Magical skill helps with the really cool combat in the game of Runescape. These are the quests that will help your magic skill and give you the following experience points.

  • Witches Potion (Free) – This quest is for 375 points.
  • Imp Catcher (Free) – 900 experience points are here for you.
  • Growing Pains – You get 1,000 experience points for this.
  • Spirits of the Elid – This is for 1,000 exp. points.
  • Giant Dwarf – This quest is for 1,500 exp. points.
  • Grand Tree Quest – 2,150 experience points are up for grabs.
  • Recipe for Disaster – This quest nets 2,500 experience.
  • Legacy of Seergaze – Finishing this quest gets you 3,000 exp. points.
  • Horror from the Deep – This quest is for 4,000 experience.
  • The Path of Glouphrie – 5,000 experience points are found here.
  • Lunar Diplomacy – Another 5,000 exp. points here.
  • King’s Ransom – The last 5,000 experience ones in list.
  • Enakhra’s Lament – This quest is for 7,000 points.
  • Dream Mentor – Finishing this quest is for 10,000.
  • Eyes of Glouphrie – You will get 12,000 experience here.
  • Swan Song – You will get 15,000 experience here.
  • Watch Tower – This quest is for 15, 250 exp. points.
  • Desert Treasure – This is for 20,000.

Mining Skill

Another good way to earn a living, mining is a great skill. These are the quests that will buff Mining and give the following experience.

  • Doric’s Quest (Free) – This is for 1,300 experience points.
  • Plague City – Quest here for 2,425 experience.
  • Giant Dwarf – Worth 2,500 experience points.
  • Lost Tribe – Finish for 3,000 experience.
  • Another Slice of H.A.M. – This is for 3,000 experience.
  • Hero’s Quest – This is for 3,075 experience.
  • Summer’s End – Finish this quest for 5,000 exp. points.

  • Between a Rock – Another 5,000 point quest.
  • Enakhra’s Lament – This is for 7,000 experience points.
  • Defender of Varrock – This quest is worth 10,000.
  • Kennith’s Concerns – Worth a total of 12,000 exp. points.
  • TokTk-Ket-Dill – This quest is for 15,000.
  • Digsite Quest – A quest worth 15,300 exp. points.

Smithing Skill

Smithing is a labour intensive skill but so worth it, and if you want to find quests to help that skill, here are the experience points for that.

  • Recipe for Disaster – A 1,000 point quest.
  • Elemental Workshop I – This quest is for 5,000 exp. points.
  • Giant Dwarf – This is for 2,500 points.
  • Hero’s Quest – 3,075 experience points worth of questing.
  • Between a Rock – A 5,000 experience point quest.
  • Devious Minds – Worth a total of 6,500 points.
  • Cabin Fever – 7,000 worth of experience points.
  • Elemental Workshop II – This is for 7,500 experience points.
  • Defender of Varrock – Quest is worth 10,000.
  • Knight’s Sword (Free) – This is for 12,725 experience.
  • Rocking Out – This is for 25,000 exp. points.

Strength Skill

The strength skill is important to get you ready for the battles ahead. These are the quests that will buff the strength and give you the allotted quest experience.

  • In Search of Myreque – This will net you 600 experience.
  • In Aid of the Myreque – This quest is for 2,000 exp.
  • Tai Bwo Wannai Trio – This is for 2,500 exp. points.
  • Fremennik Trails – This has 2,813 experience points to give.
  • Land of the Goblins – This quest gives 3,000.
  • Hero’s Quest – This is for 3,075 experience points.
  • Troll Romance – This will give you 4,000 exp.
  • Horror from the Deep – This quest is worth 4,000 exp.
  • TokTz-Ket-Dill – This is for 5,000 exp. points.
  • Scorpion Catcher – 6,625 experience is given for this.
  • Dealing with Scabaras – This quest is worth 7,000.
  • Roving Elves – This is for 10,000 experience points.
  • Waterfall Quest – This quest will give 13,750 exp. points.
  • Dragon Slayer (Free) – You get 18,650 experience points.
  • The Haunted Mine – This is for 22,000 exp. points.
  • The Path of Glouphrie – You receive 30,000 points for this quest.

Woodcutting Skill

Make logs or cut down trees for other purposes with the Woodcutting skill. These are the quests that will buff Woodcutting and give you the given exp. points.

  • Recipe for Disaster – 1,500 experience points for this.
  • Enlightened Journey – This quest is for 1,500 points.
  • Monk’s Friend – You will get 2,000 points for this quest.
  • Eyes of Glouphrie – This quest is worth 2,500 exp. points.
  • Animal Magnetism – You will get 2,500 experience.
  • Fremennik Trails – Finish this quest for 2,813 points.
  • Hero’s Quest – This is going to be for 3,075 experience.
  • Icthlarin’s Little Helper – 4,000 experience points are given for this.
  • Summer’s End – You complete this for 5,000 exp. points.
  • Fremennik Isles – This is a 10,000 exp. point quest.
  • Grim Tales – This is for 14,000 experience points.
  • As a First Resort – You get 15,000 exp. points for this.
  • Back to My Roots – This gives a massive 40,000 experience points.

Prayer Skill

The prayer skill helps in healing and getting other objectives in game. These are the quests that will buff Prayer and give you the following experience points.

  • Making History – This quest is for 1,000 exp. points.
  • Recruitment Drive – This gives 1,000 points.
  • Restless Ghost (Free) – You will get 1,125 experience points for this.
  • Priest in Peril – This is going to give you 1,406 experience points.
  • Mountain Daughter – This is going to give you 2,000 exp. points.
  • Land of the Goblins – You will be given 2,000 exp. points.
  • Ghosts Ahoy – You finish this for 2,400 exp. points.
  • Another Slice of H.A.M. – You can finish this for 3,000 exp. points.
  • Spirit of Summer – 5,000 exp. points for this quest.
  • Rag and Bone Man – 500 experience for this, but 5,000 more when you finish the minigame.
  • Mountain Daughter – This quest is worth 2,000 exp. points.
  • The Great Brain Robbery – 6,000 experience points up for grabs here.
  • Rum Deal – You will get 7,000 experience points for this.
  • Dealing with Scabaras – You will get 7,000 experience for this.
  • Spirits of the Elid – This is for 8,000 exp. points.
  • Swan Song – This is for 10,000 exp. points.
  • Summer’s End – You will receive 10,000 exp. points.
  • The Holy Grail – This is going to give you 11,000 exp. points.
