White Knight Chronicles PS3 Cover   This is an expensively made Japanese RPG which offers countless hours of gameplay. The beautifully realised art style features a cast of colourful characters and interesting environments but the single player story line is clichéd to say the least. The battle mechanics may be as tired as the plot but the addition of a kind of lightweight MMO approach for side quests is an interesting idea. White Knight Chronicles certainly does enough to attract an audience and the International Edition should prove popular.

This White Knight Chronicles trophy guide lists every trophy available in the game. There are 24 trophies in total in White Knight Chronicles and they break down as follows:

    • 8 Bronze Trophies
    • 7 Silver Trophies
    • 8 Gold Trophies
    • 1 Platinum Trophy

    Bronze Trophies

    • Item Searcher - A copper ornament, in the shape of a bag. Given to anyone that has collected 100 items.
    • Look out for sparkling areas in the map and pick up everything you find and you’ll get this trophy pretty quickly.
    • Weapon Collector - A copper ornament, in the shape of a sword. Given to anyone that has collected 50 pieces of equipment.
    • You can store unused equipment and you’ll want to upgrade your armor and weapons for each new member of your party so you’ll get this quite fast.
    • Bronze Star - A medal given to anyone who has successfully mastered one weapon’s skills sets. A bronze glow is projected from your heart.
    • You can specialise in a weapon or magic and if you max out one of the options you’ll get this trophy but you have to do it with your own avatar (the character you create at the start).
    • Bronze Horn Ornament - An ornament, in the shape of a monster’s horn. Given to anyone who has defeated 100 monsters.
    • There are monsters everywhere so you’ll pick this up in no time.
    • Seal of Pursuer - A seal given to you from a client. Only given to people who have successfully obtained an S rank in five quests.
    • You need to make sure you perform well in quests to get an S rank so kill plenty of monsters, finish as quickly as possible and complete all the objectives.
    • Gaman’s Stone - A hidden treasure given to anyone who has successfully synthesized 50 items. It’s a little bit soft, and almost looks as if it was made by a child.
    • You’ll need to collect and buy various items to synthesize and it’s liable to be expensive.
    • Gold Medal - A medal given to an adventurer who has successfully risen to GR4 (Guild Rank 4). Given to show the guild leader’s encouragement.
    • Take on a bunch of Guild Quests to get this trophy, they’re much easier if you party up with people online than solo.
    • Red Embroidered Purse - A new purse given when you have amassed 100,000 Gilda. The inside is full of hopes.
    • Kill monsters and complete quests and you’ll build up a bankroll.

    Silver Trophies

    • White Knight Chronicles Avatar Creation   Silver Embroidered Pouch - A new purse given when you have amassed 1,000,000 Gilda. The inside is full of hopes and dreams.
    • You’ll have to kill a lot of monsters and complete a lot of quests to get this trophy.
    • Silver Medal - A medal given to an adventurer who has successfully risen to GR8 (Guild Rank 8). Given to show the guild leader’s admiration.
    • You’ll need to take on loads of Guild Quests for this one but you can always repeat them to keep building up your rank.
    • Amanda’s Ruby - A hidden treasure given to anyone who has successfully synthesized 200 items. A firm Ruby apparently made by Madame Amanda.
    • This is going to be time consuming and very expensive.
    • Seal of Elucidation - A seal given to you from a client. Only given to people who have successfully obtained an S rank in twenty quests.
    • You’ll need to perform brilliantly in quests to get this trophy and it might require a few tries to perfect each one.
    • Silver Horn Ornament - An ornament, in the shape of a monster’s horn. Given to anyone who has defeated 3000 monsters.
    • You’ll get this naturally as you play through because there is a never ending supply of monsters to slay.
    • Weapon Maniac - A silver ornament, in the shape of a sword. Given to anyone that has collected 200 pieces of equipment.
    • As you get richer you’ll buy better equipment and you keep having to kit out new party members so you should reach this total eventually (you don’t need to have them all at once).
    • Item Maniac - A silver ornament, in the shape of a bag. Given to anyone that has collected 300 items.
    • They do need to be separate items but if you keep picking up everything you find you’ll get there.

    Gold and Platinum Trophies

    • White Knight Chronicles Cut Scene   Golden Embroidered Pouch - A new purse given when you have amassed 10,000,000 Gilda. The inside is full of loads of happiness.
    • It is going to take a lot of dead monsters and completed quests to amass this much but once you do you can use the cash to get the synthesize trophies and equipment related trophies.
    • Gold Medal - A medal given to an adventurer who has successfully risen to GR12 (Guild Rank 12). Given to show the guild leader’s deep affection.
    • You’ll be plugging away for a long time to get this and you’ll need to repeat quests to bump that rank up slowly.
    • Gamarone’s Diamond - A hidden treasure given to anyone who has successfully synthesized 450 items. Gamarone apparently had this diamond made in secrecy. It is a little bit sticky.
    • This will take ages and cost a fortune so get the money trophies first.
    • Seal of Conquest - A seal given to you from a client. Only given to people who have successfully obtained an S rank in fifty quests.
    • This is going to be really tough to get. Make sure you are levelled up, well equipped and always take on quests with friends.
    • Golden Horn Ornament - An ornament, in the shape of a monster’s horn. Given to anyone who has defeated 10,000 monsters.
    • You are going to have to kill a lot of monsters to get enough items and money for some of the other trophies so you should get this in the process.
    • Gold Star - A medal given to anyone who has successfully mastered eight weapon’s skills sets. A golden glow is projected from all of your skills.
    • You can expect this to take a very long time and you’ll need to do the rebirth thing several times to get the skills you need.
    • Weapon Collector - A gold ornament, in the shape of a sword. Given to anyone that has collected 500 pieces of equipment.
    • Most of these will be synthesized so try and get the money related trophies first and then spend on binding things to create the equipment you need.
    • Item Collector - A gold ornament, in the shape of a bag. Given to anyone that has collected 600 items.
    • The upside to collecting all these items is that you’ll have what you need to synthesize 450 items for the Gamarone’s Diamond trophy. You’ll need to collect everything you can get your hands on to reach 600.
    • Platinum Crown - A Crown only an adventurer that has mastered everything can possess. Legend has it, that it was once owned by an ancient king.
    • As usual get all of the other trophies and you’ll be rewarded with the White Knight Chronicles Platinum trophy.
