Released in November of 2008 for North America, this Japanese tactical RPG game, Valkyria Chronicles, is rated T for Teen by the ESRB rating system. There is only a single player game mode but it has plenty of replay value. It has been getting good ratings for the short time that it has been out. Hidden Recruit Unlockables
When you do specific tasks in the game, there are characters that you can unlock for each of the classes in the game.
Lynn the Shock Trooper – You need to unlock Karl’s hidden potential and then have him fall in combat.
Emile the Sniper – You must unlock Oscar’s hidden potential and then have him die in battle.
Audrey the Lancer – You just need to earn 10 or more of the medals in game.
Musaad the Scout – You will have to beat the game entirely.
Knute the Engineer – You need to have 1,000,000 DCT when you enter the command room.

Game Finishing Benefits
When you have beat the game you can save them game and then have a listing for “new game plus data”, when you load that you will have some benefits in the new game. These are those benefits.
Character Stats – You will retain the money, levels, and experience you gained in the last game.
Hard Mode – This can be selected on Skirmishes only.
Music Tab – You’ll be able to listen to music pieces throughout the game.
Statistics Tab – You can see the rank you gain for a certain mission and the number of different times it took you to finish it.
Mission Replayability – You will be able to play the storyline missions as many times as you like.

There are medals that you are going to be able to gather during the game play, if you know how to get them.
The Lance of Gallia – Kill an enemy ace.
Saviors of Gallia – Beat the game and start a new one from one of the saved files.
Gallian Medal of Honor – Finish the battle in Chapter 9.
Fouzen Service Medal – Finish the battle in Chapter 10.
Naggiar Service Medal – Finish the battle in Chapter 14.
Ghirlandaio Service Medal – Finish the second battle in Chapter 15.
The Bronze Arms of Gallia – Kill 250 of the enemy units.
The Silver Arms of Gallia – Kill 500 of the enemy units.
The Golden Arms of Gallia – Kill 1,000 of the enemy units.
Excellence in Leadership – Learn every order.
Excellence in Armament – You need to collect all enemy ace and royal weapons and commission all the weapon upgrades.
Excellence in Technology – You need to collect all enemy ace tank parts and commission all tank upgrades including the 3 level three Edelweiss upgrades.
The Splintered Horn – Let any character that has unlocked their hidden potential die in battle.
The Crimson Heart – Have a soldier that fell in combat survive by calling a medic or clearing the battle before they die.
Order of the Golden Wings – Train all of the character classes to the 20th level.
Wings of Solidarity – Unlock for all recruits the full personnel profiles.
Gallian Front Commemorative – Finish all reports and chapters.
Order of the Holy Lance – After chapter 10, earn an A rank on a chapter battle.
Order of the Holy Shield – After chapter 10, without any of your units being reduced to no hitpoints, finish any chapter battle.
Randgriz Crest of Honor – Including all reports and all ranks for the skirmish battles, earn an “A” rank on every battle.
