How to Unlock Halo 3 Armor

Halo 3 came out in North America on September 25, 2007 and has, like its predecessors, been a best seller ever since. This first person shooter game is a great campaign series, but better known for its multiplayer battles. It was developed by Bungie and was put out solely for the Xbox 360. It comes after Halo 2 and Halo: Combat Evolved.

There is new wearable armor in Halo 3, and most of it needs to be unlocked by various ways in the game. There is Spartan and Elite armor sets and here is how you can unlock them.

Body Armor

Mark VI Spartan – This is available from the start of the game.

CQB Spartan – This too is available from the beginning.

EVA Spartan – You need to complete Tsavo Highway on Normal, Heroic, or Legendary setting.

EOD Spartan – You’ll need to finish Tsavo Highway on Legendary setting.

Scout Spartan – You’ll need to destroy an enemy’s banshee with a missile pod or a Sp’laser in a ranked campaign to unlock the “Too Close to the Sun” achievement.

Hayabusa Spartan – Find 5 skulls.

Flight Elite – You need to complete Tsavo Highway on Heroic or Legendary setting.

Ascetic Elite – You need to kill 5 enemies with mêlée or assassination in a ranked FFA playlist to unlock “Up Close and Personal” achievement.

Commando Elite – Get a triple kill and unlock “Triple Kill” achievement to unlock.

Shoulder Armor

Mark VI Spartan – Available at the start of game.

CQB Spartan – Available at the beginning.

EVA Spartan – Complete the Ark on Normal, Heroic, or Legendary setting.

EOD Spartan – Complete the Ark on Legendary mode.

Security Spartan – Earn 750 Gamerscore points.

Scout Spartan – You need destroy an enemy vehicle with a piece of equipment in a campaign or ranked playlist and unlock “We’re in for some Chop” achievement.

Hayabusa Spartan – Find 9 skulls.

Flight Elite – Complete the Ark on Heroic or Legendary mode.

Ascetic Elite – Get one over kill and unlock “Overkill” achievement.

Commando Elite – Get one killing frenzy and unlock “Killing Frenzy” achievement.

Helm Armor

Mark VI Spartan – This is available at the beginning of the game.

CQB Spartan – Also available at the start.

EVA Spartan – Complete the campaign on Normal, Heroic, or Legendary setting.

EOD Spartan – Complete the campaign on Legendary mode.

Security Spartan – You’ll need to earn 1,000 Gamerscore points.

Scout Spartan – You need to destroy an enemy vehicle that contains 3 enemies in a ranked playlist or campaign to unlock “Used Car Salesman” achievement.

Mark V Spartan – You should reach Sergeant ranking online to unlock the “UNSC Spartan” achievement.

ODST Spartan – You need to earn 5 exp or complete 10 ranked matches to unlock “Spartan Graduate” achievement.

Rogue Spartan – You need to advance to the Spartan officer ranks online to unlock “Spartan officer” achievement.

Hayabusa Spartan – Find all 13 skulls.

Flight Elite – Complete the campaign on Heroic or Legendary status

Ascetic Elite – Get one triple kill with the energy sword in a ranked FFA to unlock “Steppin’ Razor” achievement.

Commando Elite – Get one overkill and unlock “Overkill” achievement.

These are the ways that you can unlock and get whatever armor set that you would like to have and wear in Halo 3 for the Xbox 360.
